I finished my application for the second board
Still don't understand
I think you are onto something here, a person in the rotc department at a university I applied to, said they don't expect results until mid-february.I was a little agitated last night having DS refresh every microsecond to see if he could get through. But here's a comforting guess: Possibly this is an IT snafu, and the "Under Consideration... was not selected" status was intended only for applicants who didn't win on the first Board but was given by a data loading mistake to some applicants (e.g. you) who only applied after the first Board but not all such applicants (e.g., my DS who remains Board Ready). So, I'm guessing it's just IT stuff and you're still in the running for this Board. I work in software development and I know there are data loading errors sometimes. The fact that the service was down for a while corroborates that it was messy last night.
Thats good to hear, thanks.Hey guys, I spoke to my brother who won the 4 year scholarship last year on the first board and have news to relieve you all (and myself). Apparently the applications will naturally turn to Boarded/Under Consideration upon review. When the board adjourns, the application status may turn to either selected or not selected within a day or so. Phew!
I just think that it has been reviewed, Im not sure they have decided who to select yet. Check the previous post on this thread.Just checked my status again, I have been moved from board ready to boarded/under consideration. Kind of worried.

1) I was so confident I was a competitive applicant, and 2) How could they have already finished deciding winners if the board hasn't adjourned yet??
How long after the technical error did you hear? Just curious. When I won the 4 Year in October there was a technical error. Maybe this is the same case here, I wouldn’t be worried about it.
