Information that can be useful: I heard voices that the for the 2026 class they expect a lot more applications than for the 2025 class

Why is so many people getting banned right now? These seem like normal questions?

I wouldn't necessarily believe it, unless I saw some data, and or some evidence to prove that situation. I don't think there is anything special regarding next year, as far as I know, that would lead to an "20-35%" increase in applications for the class of 2026. I personally am an applicant though!
