LOA to USNA, but nomination to USMA.
You're right about not expecting that LOA. They are rare, to say the least.
The LOA means that USNA wants you. How bad they want you is anyone's guess.
At this point, I think USNA is your strongest bet, but it would require them getting your nomination to change.
