I went to NASS session one this year. It was really fun. The PT was very reasonable. CFA one day, PRT the next, work out with a Navy SEAL another, 3 mile run with everyone, and of course Sea Trials day. PRT was easier than the CFA by far because yoiu don't get tired out from all the different events. They do get you up at like 5:15 every morning, but that wasn't to bad at all. Sea Trials was long, but really fun. You get to stay with your squad all day and do different things with them. There is obstacle course, meadow workout, relays, log PT, some running, wet and sandy, zodiacs, more relays, team building, tug of war, swimming....etc. You do have to eat an MRE for dinner, so choose wisely. Our squad got pizza later that night though, so it wasn't a big deal. Just drink lots of water and you will be fine for the day.
If anyone has any other questions about SS just PM me or reply on this thread. I'll be happy to answer anyone's questions.
PS-Go BRAVO!
Bravo! What Plat/Squad were you in?
I was B-2-3
I really enjoyed myself. Only thing is, I hope you guys didn't sign up for Character Development! It's not that boring but you get SO tired -_-
Overall the experience was GREAT I wasn't sure about applying before but now it's a definite go. I really liked the Marine Silent Drill team aswell
WE ALL WE GOT!
