After a stressful and very serious interview, our DS was told by interviewer that the weight of the interview was substantial and that he had nailed it. He told him he wished him the best of luck and offered any support needed moving forward. I think the kids that really want this, and have service at the forefront make sure to get in front of the first board.
I would also think that their is likely a direct correlation to those that have put them selves in the position of being excellent candidates and those that make the first board and interview well.
In any case, I am just relieved he has a plan in place to serve and become a leader. He and those that were awarded scholarships this early have worked very hard to be in this position.
