Hello! I have received and accepted my offer of appointment for USNA’s class of 2023. I am excited/anxious for I-Day and was wondering if anyone knew the general time that the permit to report packages would be sent out. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

This has not yet been updated for ‘23, but mail-outs begin in early April.

www.usna.edu will continue to be be your go-to primary resource.

It will be similar to the PTR below but updated for ‘23.

Anyone receive the PTR package yet? We’ve recently had some postal issues and wondering if we missed it.
 
Waitlisted, anyone know how they handle it if you get in in like June? That's so much paperwork for so little time.

Don't worry about - I have heard of people getting the word at literally the last minute (it's been awhile though), and somehow it works out. If a wait lister got the BFE the week before IDay, I am sure Admissions has a plan to get you onboard. Probably a "paperwork to follow" scenario.
 
Received mine in the mail today as well. Accepted my appointment March 20th but I think they just sent everyone’s out.
 
Alright I’ve read through PTR and have some questions :

Sponsor family: it gave us information about the program but when will we do the questionnaire? Didn’t see it in the packet.

The hair situation: I’m a girl and we aren’t required to cut our hair this year. Can I cut it anyway? Don’t want to spend time worrying about it.

Mail address/company: when do we get that? Later I assume when they’ve given appointments to everyone?

Navy federal: I have a friend at USAFA and he said keep my money with suntrust. Thoughts and advice on this would be great!

Not sure on sponsor. You can cut your hair, ensure to google the regs and be within them. You will get the mailing address. Plebe Summer everyone uses the same minus company/platoon. It will come. Use Navy Fed or USAA. Navy Fed is on the yard, so very easy access. Most will use USAA and/or NFCU through their careers. Many use both. I still have both.

The naval Academy grad I know (1968 I think) still has both.
 
Lots of older threads on the bank choices over the years on here. Can always search and check those out.
 
My PTR came today and I live about 40 minutes away from USNA so they're definitely coming out.
