If someone has said this yet, ignore this post. However, I recommend making sure you have digital and hard copies of everything blank and then once completed. Our DS had copies and original (if required to bring on I Day) of everything in a plastic envelope that you hold in your hand when you walk in. If you have your papers in your backpack and they take it away before you can get them out..not good. A friend of ours had to have ALL her immunizations again!

Quick question: will we be using our portals (CIS) anymore for anything? It states that the initial forms (police/birth/body) have been received and the status says Offer Accepted.

23LT, Yes, you'll use them for links to the sponsor questionnaire, which is yet to be posted, and possibly the links to validation tests.

@falconchic88 Thank you. I just checked my CIS and the link to the Permit to Report package website and the Plebe Sponsor Questionnaire were added.

My DS is sifting through his PTR package. Does the USNA recommend or require the Adenovirus Vaccine? I have never heard of it. I see the DOD recommends it for military recruits entering basic training. Checking with our doctor tomorrow.

Okay - looks like that vaccine is given once at USNA. Lots of info to process....

FYI - our medical provider asked DS to fax them a copy of the vaccination form so they would have all required vaccines in stock for his appointment/visit next week. Apparently not all of them are commonly in house.

Better to be stuck multiple times and be able to hit your own couch than report on I-Day and be doing push-ups with port and starboard punctures. Good move to give them the form in advance.

Good idea - thanks
