Portal status timeframe

Hello all,

I submitted my last piece of my application about 20 days ago and my status still remains blank. How long did it take for you all to be moved to hold?

I'm not sure there is a good answer to your question because of unusual circumstances with admissions this year. Because of the partial government shutdown, the application deadline was extended for a week due to the full admissions staff not being available for a period of time. As a result, trying to predict status update timing from past (even recent past) admissions time frames is difficult if not impossible. I know the waiting can be excruciating, but hang in there.
