Hello, does anyone know/have a guess how many appointments are left? I keep hearing wildly conflicting things. Thank you!

Nope, the only number I've heard thrown out there ( in a IL candidate meeting by a USAFA representative) is this year 1100 appointments will be given out. However keep in mind USAFA could and may offer more or less depending on their situation. We won't know until all offers are put out.

Keep your head up, prep school, Falcon foundation scholarships could still be options even if you get rejected. Many falcons were rejected then a few weeks later offer their scholarship.

Appointments are not over. My DS is a 3 degree cadet, but two years ago he received his appointment in April. If you take a look at old appointment threads, you will see many appointments are made after the "big March wave". In his year, the big March day for appointments was on March 10-- Many more appointments were made after that.

class size of 1100 or 1110 appointments being given out? 1100 appointments would mean a USAFA class that's probably sub 1000

According to the 1-page Demographic Profile of Class of 20XX's Total Admitted Number:
2025 1113
2024 ?
2023 ?
2022 1182
2021 1216
2020 1168

Does anyone have the sheets for Class of 2023 and 2024?

Hi all!

Okay, without revealing "things" I am not at liberty to share at present...currently, just under 1000 offers have been made to the class of 2026, as of this morning. That's from USAFA/RRS today.

What is the total number to be made? I can't say (I don't know).

Now, my personal (ALO) thought. If you have heard nothing it does not mean you're not going to. It also doesn't mean you will either. I always work from a "plan B, C, D, in case" position. If you have not heard yet, start looking at Plan B "in case." You may need to implement it; you may not, but you won't know until you hear officially. In the meantime, let no deadlines go by re: Plan B.

This is a direct "cut/paste" from the information I have: "As offers are accepted and declined, we will see some additional offers thru May. Non-selects should work their backup plans, but keep watching." Note: if you haven't received a letter saying you are a "non-select" then at present, you're not.

I know this isn't what you want to hear; it's just me being realistic.

Do you know if there’s applications that haven’t been processed yet? I think mine got delayed due to some medical stuff.

I am not in the know, and my DS did not apply to AF, but I have been following all the service academy threads and someone brought up the point that the 1100 or 1200 appointment number may not be including the Prep candidates which makes the 1400 number a good number too- which may provide more hope for those who are waiting.
