Rotc scholarship change?

Hello, so I won a 3 year AD scholarship for Rutgers. I logged in today just to see if I needed anything because I don't know if I need to do anything else (I passed medical and everything is signed and uploaded), but when I went to check my status said "offer accepted" and it said "4 years" not 3????? Is this a mistake. A month ago i signed my contract for 3 year AD???
 
Your scholarship has been upgraded to a 4 year scholarship, congratulations.
 
What did the ROO at Rutgers tell you when you called and asked about the change??
 
Happened to my son also. I have seen several people on here who had their portal change. Do we need to confirm with the ROO? I assumed the portal would be the most accurate information.

Here's my own attitude in life.... if it's something that's important and/or matters in some way... confirm it. Always. If it's not important, why bother?
 
It looks like there were a bunch of upgrades to 4 year. About 40 in ClarksonArmy's and mine BDE.
 
Are they still upgrading scholarships? I'm a 3 year winner at the University of Kentucky. Hoping for a upgrade to a 3.5-4 year

I am pretty sure all of the national upgrades happened already, a 3.5 year would happen on campus in the fall if the brigade/battalion has extra funds. Showing up in shape and ready to be fully committed in ROTC and in ththe classroom is the best strategy. My daughter was upgraded to a 3.5 year as a freshman, however it seems pretty common in her brigade, not all do upgrades, so a good conversation to have with the ROO. In her experience the ROO's at the schools that do it brought it up, one of her schools said the have not had money in their brigade for upgrades or several years. Good luck
