Shining Low Quarters?

Hi everyone, I understand that we will need to bring a pair of black leather low quarters to R-Day. Should we plan on shining them before we get to R-Day? I understand we should break them in and am familiar with shining shoes through JROTC. Will shining them before I get to the Academy save me some trouble during BEAST? Thank you for any feedback!

Doesn't really make a difference. Most of your peers won't have them shined. Might not want to to avoid drawing attention to yourself.

Wait until Beast to shine them. It will give you something to do. If you bring them already shined, then they'll just fine something else for you to do. And as the previous posted pointed out, it's best not to draw attention to yourself.
