Got a peculiar email along with 30ish others from LCDR Keith Watson saying I have until tomorrow night to accept my appointment. Also been on hold since maybe February or March. I didn't get to check the portal after I found out about the email, and now I can't login (perhaps because of May 1st being the date that applications re-open for new applicants for 2025?). This email seems to imply an appointment, yet I never got a formal appointment email. Anybody have experience or know what to make of this?
You already know what to do, especially if you know if you were offered an appointment, you would accept.
Roll out of the rack early on East Coast time, try to log in, see what your status is. Depending on what you see, act accordingly.
If you can’t get in, respond via email to LCDR Watson and let him know you have received no updates on your appointment status, would he re-send email or confirm your status. Check your email spam folder first!
Double down and try calling him late morning, if you do not receive a response. This is not the day to passively hope someone is reading his email! If his email is not in a signature block in his email, call the Admissions general number. If he is not available, leave an old-school vmail with a brief message and your contact info. Again, do not assume he will get the message. Give it an hour or so, call back to Admissions, ask for any Admissions officer, explain your situation. The goal is to talk with someone live, get clarity, communicate your decision, follow up with email.
