The Everything Drawer - Everyone has one, right? (post anything - within the rules)

Watched Yellowstone last night.

Feeling spunky.
I am woefully behind on my Yellowstone watching. I still need to watch episodes 5-9 inclusive, so your spunky comment is lost on me.
Darn you for dropping an in-joke and me not knowing what it means!

I'm also caught up on 1883. I'd like to go back in time to get in on their most excellent dental care. All the cast members spend an obvious long time in the chair of the make-up artists. Dirty faces. Scruffy facial hair. Their teeth though. They glow.

They missed that detail. Thank goodness for our modern dental care. DS had all four wisdom teeth out last week. He came through it like it was nothing more than a haircut. He is back at work pulling an 11 hour shift today at Chick-fil-A.

I have thought the same thing lately. Every movie I have seen lately that is a "throwback" to 100 or more years ago, has actors with perfectly even, straight, white (like there's a black light shining on them) teeth. That's not in any way, natural.

My third molars (millstone teeth) were removed in Hawaii when they thought Motrin cured everything. I had more pain than good judgement so went to Hotel Street and stopped in at Wo Phat's for dinner. Got a dry socket and had to irrigate and pack the holes for more than a week. Remember it like it was yesterday.

The dentist precribed Oxys for DS . He took one and it made him puke. He did not like it at all. So he took Tylenol and dealt with a bit of pain for like two days and then he was fine. No dry socket. He missed maybe 4 days at work. No school missed because he is on break. We planned this well. One less thing to worry about when he is far from home some day.

On 12/31/2021 DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls hit a game-winning three against Indiana to end the year and hit ANOTHER ONE against D.C. on 1/1/2022 to begin the new year. Sorry to those that are not basketball goons like I am but I thought it was just too great of a sequence to not share.

We are up in NJ and it was 67 by me yesterday. This morning it was 33 when I went for my run. Luckily no snow here yet. They keep pushing the start back. Hopefully it doesn’t get us. 🤞🏻
