I know it is early, but obviously the LOA's are coming down, and since we all know, if you have that Presidential in hand, you will quickly go from LOA to APPT.

So let's get the party started! I believe we have 4 already

Please post
Moniker name...LOA/APPT ...Date....State.

Congrats to all. To those waiting, don't fear your day will come too! Also don't stalk the mail person, typically the letters go out on Thursday (written on Wednesday), no need to go crazy until Friday, nothing by Monday, then repeat!
 
Wow, this is kind of funny.

I remember catching the last of this thread for 2013 when I joined in June. Kind of weird seeing the class of 2014 start to get filled up. Congrats to everyone who is and will be on the list.

Hi everyone - guess we're getting into the second batch of LOA's!! :thumb:

My son also got his LOA today (along with jghsrunner evidently!), also dated 11/4. He is from Wisconsin. He has both of his senator interviews next Saturday.

I got this creme letter from Air Force Academy today and it says it has " approved you for admission to the United States Air Force Academy Class of 2014. You are virtually assured of an appointment..." just making sure, this is loa, right?
 
If the letter is as you describe and the envelope is not a traditional sized envelope but the size of a piece of paper folded in half then:

Congratulations, you got it!

Add your name to the list.

My son just received an LOA today! He is a fencing recruit and is excited to be able to attend the USAFA and compete for the Academy in the sport he loves. Sincere thanks to everyone on this forum for your invaluable help. He is now #11 on the list.
