Hello guys! So I just came back from MEPS and have been qualified. My recruiter for enlistment told me that I could use the MEPS result for USAFA (I'm doing reserve as a backup). How do I forward the MEPS results to DoDMERB? Thank you for any response!:):)

Your Recruiter was incorrect. Only a DoDMERB exam shall be used for USAFA :wiggle:

Enlisted recruiters are very knowledgeable about what they do, bringing quality people into the enlisted ranks to meet their required goals, but are usually not the best source of info for their service’s academy, an officer pre-comm program.

I thought it was the case that Mr. Mullen stated above and was glad he could confirm it.

If you haven’t yet gone to the DoDMERB site and read every menu item on the left-hand side of the home page - the process, FAQs, workflow, etc. - I recommend it. You should be prepared to execute the DoDMERB process if you are notified to do so.

I'm looking for assistance on this also. I applied to Service Academies last year. My vision test came back with incorrect results (they sent me to a Walmart eye dr and her results were not accurate). I submitted a followup exam from a new eye dr and all my prior records to show vision is well within standards. Waiver was never requested since I didn't get an appt. I just started with AFROTC at school (not on scholarship) and am also joining the ANG. I just had a MEPS physical which shows eyes are fine - does it matter which physical I use for ROTC? They asked for either one and I'd rather use one that doesn't need waived.

I believe Mr. Mullen can clarify, but usually for "Officer Accession Programs" ie: ROTC, Academies, OCS/OTS, etc DoDMERB Exams are required. I only know that for ROTC Scholarships and Academies you do a DoDMERB Exam.
