Same for my son. I have been told to just sit and wait.

Are there expected to be big releases of appointments in April as well? Or are we now in the tail end of appointments?

Take a look at AFrpaso’s graph from yesterday. That will give you a great view of the past few year’s appointment data spread. Nobody else is going to be able to give you a better answer.

I definitely thought it was pretty interesting. Seems like we have a ways to go to reach the seemingly consistent 190 mark other than the one that only reached 130ish.

Does USAFA still mail out the nice acceptance folder thing to those with offers? If so, when do they send them? I might also be confused and not know what I'm talking about.

I have been waiting 2 months and haven’t received mine. I was getting worried it was lost in the mail.
I'm told it gets sent via UPS. MMA sent theirs FedEx. Either way, if you have accounts (even free ones) with them, they'll email/text you notifications when you have something coming right after it's been scanned into their system. (I signed up for that after being hit by porch pirates one holiday season.) I know people who got their principal nom and appointments in January but didn't get their folders till late May. I wonder if they do that with people they know will accept, but send them out earlier to the wildcard appointees.

I got mine a couple weeks after accepting the offer mid december. I think you need to accept the offer on the portal first to receive one.

My DS opened his portal this AM and saw his gold envelope. When he opened it, there was a letter saying he was accepted for admission to the USAFA prep school. We are so very excited and proud and think that the prep school is perfect for him. For context, he is a young senior, 16 yo (will be 17 at the end of June,) with no military background. Grateful for this group and for the information everyone has shared and continues to share on this journey. The wait is and was torture and am now just happy that my DS can truly enjoy his senior year! Good luck to all those waiting!!

My DD is home for Spring Break from the USAFAPS. IT’S HARD but she loves it! She just told me she would be willing to speak to you or your son if you had any questions. Just direct message me if you are interested.

All, remember that at this point no news is still good news!
