Congratulations! My DS too!Sen. Cruz's office called DS earlier today with nom!!
Yes DD got a nomination for USAFA from Toomey. I imagine he is very busy in DC since he was the one pushing to limit the Fed so he broke protocol this year and sent out status by email. It is my understanding that people are also being notified if they didn’t get a nomination. Best of luck to your son.Did you get a nom? I know my son when he went through the process he only got snail mail notification. DD not expecting from Toomey because thought that was a hard interview.
DS just received a letter in the mail today from Wagner (MO-2) that he was nominated to USNA and USMA (his top two choices).Same here. It’s looking like Congresspersons might do it this week or early January with Blunt and Hawley doing them late January.
Son received a nom to USAFA from Congressman Cleaver (MO-5) in early November. No word yet from Blunt or Hawley.Anything from Missouri nomination sources?
either the MOC had 2 slates and dhe got noms on both slates or 2 different nom sourcesDD just logged into USMA portal and she received a nomination but it is listed twice? What does that mean?
My DD was excited to find an update to her USMA portal showing a nom from VA62, but she has not received any official notification. Anyone know if that is Sen. Kaine or Sen. Warner?Anyone heard from VA-08, Kaine, or Warner? If so, which SA?

Keep an eye on your portal. Elected officials are given a period of time to inform if they choose, and some call, some don’t. Some send snail mail. Don’t lose hope until you know for sure.Congratulations
Do all nominees get a call? I guess since I didn’t get call, I didn’t get nom.
My son hasn’t heard from Toomey or Casey but he’s not expecting a nom from either tbh.Did you get a nom? I know my son when he went through the process he only got snail mail notification. DD not expecting from Toomey because thought that was a hard interview.

I am in texas as well, so awaiting the nom results anxiously.Keep an eye on your portal. Elected officials are given a period of time to inform if they choose, and some call, some don’t. Some send snail mail. Don’t lose hope until you know for sure.
Also trying to figure that out- one thread from 2010 said VA61 was for the "Senior" senator, so maybe Warner is VA61 and Kaine is VA62.My DD was excited to find an update to her USMA portal showing a nom from VA62, but she has not received any official notification. Did you check the portal again? I have a VA62 there now but I'm not sure which senator that is.Anyone heard from VA-08, Kaine, or Warner? If so, which SA?
I have not heard back from either senator. But I have friends who have received rejection emails. Are you sure it isn't your MOC?Also trying to figure that out- one thread from 2010 said VA61 was for the "Senior" senator, so maybe Warner is VA61 and Kaine is VA62.
He said the interviews were hard, and he feels he’s not all that competitive against the whole state, especially for USAFA, which is the school he chose as his #1 for Toomey. He has a very solid resume, good GPA, decent SAT, but so does everyone else. He’s hoping he gets one from our congressman. Why do you think that?
