That’s a relief! Similar feeling from this experience as my DS’s counselor waiting until the deadline to send a recommendation in.

Like Tom Petty said - "The Waiting is the Hardest Part" and he was right.

However, as much as you can assure your son that worrying will not make anything else happen more quickly and it will be ok, it is hard to go through. Have him focus on those things that are awesome in his senior year (regardless of COVID), follow up on backup plans and keep moving forward.

It will all work out.

Seems Menendez is done; maybe he has a few phone calls left. We're just waiting for Booker now.
 
This week is the last few days of the first semester (our school system has broken the school year into remote learning with 4 classes a semester, similar to college). And he's taking three AP classes out of the four, so he is very happy to have this week come to an end!

Add in awaiting a decision on one of his non-SA college applications, all three nom decisions for USAFA and USNA, and his outstanding waiver reviews for the medical for the SAs, and he has a lot of "hurry up and wait" on his plate.

Just like every other serious Sr. in high school right now. So glad I am done with all of that! ;)
 
DS is still waiting to hear from TX-7, Congresswoman Fletcher's office following an interview last Thursday. Has anyone from this district heard anything?
 
We have Sarbanes (District 3). I believe there are other MOCs in MD that have already notified. I have also heard that numerous times about the Senatorial ones (this week, or next).
 
@IronmanDaremo This is my third application cycle and trust me the wait does not get any easier. Hopefully Senate nominations will be released first week of February.
