2025 State Nominations Thread

Have any Austinites out here heard from Rep. Roger Williams (TX-25)? A friend I have at USMA said they normally notify people late December to early January, and now that I got the rejection letter from both Senators, I am anxiously waiting. :/
 
Back to PA 😂... has anyone heard from Toomey or Casey for USNA? I have 2 DSs applying and hoping at least 1 gets a senatorial nom. One is a reapplicant and the other is a senior in HS. Fun times.

Hi neighbor! We are in Williams' district also, so I guess that makes us neighbors and competitors? 😂 I was on Willams' webpage last night, and it said they would let candidates know in early January. DS had to call his office once during the process, and they said they were very far behind. I do not know if they made up time and still think early January is realistic. Good luck. DS did not get any senatorial nominations either.

My DD received an email from Toomey on Dec 21 (and so did at least one other person on these forums) about the USAFA. She has not received anything in the mail from Toomey. Suggest checking the junk mail folder because that is where she found the email. Two things to note: 1) the email says to contact Lindsey Weaver at 610-434-1444 if you have any questions (the office reopens Jan 4 at 8 am); 2) For at least the last couple years, Toomey has designated a principal nomination; however, in the email it says "It is now up to the U.S. Air Force Academy to extend an offer of appointment" so we are hoping this year Toomey is not designating principal nominations.

DD has not received any communications from Casey.

multiple candidates reported a nomination from Senator Toomey for USAFA and USMMA but I haven't seen any USNA. Good Luck!

Thank you so much! Waiting is the worst part of this whole process! Hope it works out for the best for yall.
 
Learned on Christmas Eve that I didn't receive a nomination from my Congressman for USMA. I also haven't heard from my senators since I submitted my applications in October while I've also seen people on here say they've already had interviews with my senators, (Gillibrand and Schumer). Am I still in the running for a nomination and just need to wait for them to contact me about an interview, or is it game over for me?
 
We're in Idaho, ds received letter today from his congressman. He nominated ds for USAFA and USNA. Ds is doin' the happy dance! one more hurdle crossed. Senators don't announce until January, I think, in this state.
