2028 State Nominations Thread

Anybody in here from Oklahoma? :) My daughter got an email that she got a nomination from Representative Bice. We were waiting to hear back from Lankford and Mullin. Today I just checked the portal and there was a new Nomination in green that says "Oklahoma Senator 81 Nomination Received." I don't know which Senator it was from and find it a bit odd that she didn't get an email but it just showed up! Regardless, hoping that it does indeed mean she received a second Nomination and I suppose in the end it doesn't matter who it was from!

Congratulations! We are in OKC, 5th District - Rep Bice. Mullin's interviews weren't until Dec 1 so he may be behind the 8 ball in releasing his slate. I'm thinking the Sentor Nom that showed up in her portal was from Lankford. I believe the panels that did the interviews for both Mullin & Lankford said they would communicate via email, perhaps they uploaded the slate first and haven't gotten around to sending emails yet? As many others have said, now we wait 😊

She has LOA. The congresswoman congratulated her on winning it and mentioned she is a strong candidate, but did not refer to the 'principal nomination'. We have not received any official letter yet, and it's been almost two weeks.
Congratulations to her! Just a matter of time now.

Good news and congrats to your daughter. How do we find out which MOCs use principal nominations?

Just got a nomination from VA district 11. I logged into the portal and it was checked off, but I did not receive an email yet.

My son's MOC packet was due mid-November. They do not interview, but otherwise no word so far. (Last year, with a later due date, the press release announcing nominations was out by now.) He's getting antsy and mentioned calling the POC/District Director, I presume to ask about status. Is there any downside to his doing this?

Got a nomination from D21 representative in Texas, so maybe some of yall got the letters also from Mr. Roy.
Congrats! TX21 is a competitive district. We live next door to TX21 and got an email that nom decisions have been made and a letter will be received in the mail with the decision. DS is glad he already got a senatorial nom to USAFA but we are hoping for a USMA nom from the rep. Grateful for informed delivery so I don’t have to trudge to the mailbox everyday.
