Hello fellow aspiring officers,
I took the physical fitness assessment (PFA) for the 4-year AROTC Scholarship today, and I think I did well. However, I don't know how well I did relative to other AROTC Scholarship applicants because Cadet Command hasn't posted a percentile-based chart of the scores per event like the service academies do for the Candidate Fitness Assessment (CFA). Has anyone found some grading system for the PFA? Please respond. Also, if you could give me some insight as to how I did, that would be nice:
63 pushups (90-degree arm bend, feet less than 12 inches apart, 1 minute)
55 curl-ups (elbows to thighs, arms crossed over chest, 1 minute)
7:15 mile (recycled from my CFA because I'm lazy ).
I spoke with a US Army Major and the ROTC coordinator at Michigan Tech, and they both said that recycling my mile from my CFA would be perfectly "legal". I probably would have done better if I had just done the whole PFA, but I already submitted the scores so whoops.
If this question has already been answered somewhere in the depths of this forum, please send the link. Any information would be helpful. Thanks guys and gals!
Sincerely,
