Spoke to the owner of the local beer distributor today. He said the following: the beer shortages here on LI are due to the following: Union drivers don't want to deliver to states that want to defund the police. They don't want to deliver to a state that requires them to quarantine for 2 weeks/delivery (NY). Lastly, there's a cardboard shortage so there's beer available but no cardboard to make up the packaging. No Heineken 12 packs, no Corona (cardboard issue), no Miller or Bud bottles...no White Claw...
