Class of 2024 Permit to Report Packet

Hello, I am a high school senior who has been appointed to USNA for the class of 2024. I heard that the Permit to Report Packet usually comes out around mid April, so I have been checking to see if anyone has heard anything or received theirs yet. Will the PTR be mailed to us, or will we have to print it out online? Thanks.

It'll be mailed to you. Fear not -- you'll get it. A lot happening that could delay it. But it'll come.

Great! It makes sense, considering USNA leadership has their hands full with graduating ‘20 and getting the Yard ready for plebe summer, among other things.

Looks like it will be electronic this year - there's a new post on the Plebe Summer information page on the USNA website.

While most of the PTR is carried over from year to year...Right now I expect they are still trying to figure out when and how I Day is going to happen. Notice, I didn't say if ...IT WILL HAPPEN..it just may look a little different than it has in the past . Be patient, and flexible ..... Semper Gumby!

My daughter received her PTR electronically yesterday, 4/14/20. We are in GA.
Also, the collection of forms is still referencing I-Day on 6/25/20, so it appears that as of now, the pre-virus schedule is still intact.

Thats interesting, I'm from GA too but I haven't gotten anything back, maybe today!
