There is a reason KP doesn't have a tolerance clause. Beyonds reference to ostracization would most definitely apply to anyone misusing the honor system.
Funny recent honor board cases, plebe lying about being jewish to get a refrigerator. I think he won his case...they couldnt prove he wasnt jewish.
"A midshipman will not lie, cheat or steal" vs. "A midshipman will not lie, cheat or steal nor tolerate those who do"What is a 'tolerance clause'? Is it that a midshipman will not tolerate any knowledge of infractions/lying/cheating etc?
The Honor System is not related to general behavior no matter how dis-honorable it might be. The Honor System is not the appropriate forum for SASH issues. And, companies are being shuffled as well. I don't understand why there is no tolerate clause. It seems the tolerate clause would address the sash issue dot speaks of. My bet, based on absolutely no info, is that they change it to include the tolerate clause. But, I am wrong on so many occasions, this is probably just another one of those times.
That is fall-down funny!

Maybe ... Maybe not.A quick question on uniform change:
I read that the Navy is implementing a new unisex combination cover, switching from the bucket-style dress cover for females to a cover similar to what the males currently wear. The bucket-style covers will soon be discontinued and new covers will be mandatory by Oct. 2018.
Will this change also take effect within USMMA?

A tolerance clause would force M/N A to turn in M/N B or be subject to their own honor violation.
It may well become an issue of supply, demand and pricing. The cost for the bucket cover will go up per unit, because big Navy will no longer be ordering them. With demand dropping, the bucket will go up in acquisition price, and I predict a switch down the road. This assumes the USN and USMMA buckets are from the same manufacturer.
There was a lot of history to those buckets. The tab in the back was a salute to a jack tar's pigtail. Sigh. I have stayed out of this uniform issue. I do like the new choker-style whites for Navy women.

Anyone can eat in Delano anytime, as long as they pay the contractor for their meal. Some employees do sometimes. Parents Weekend is almost the same every year. Friday night, you get to hang out with your family on campus. Then, we have a parade on Saturday, and you have liberty from after that parade until class rates on Monday night (1800). Acceptance weekend is only one night, similar set up.
Plebe life is going to get better though, there is no more CTO position, (company training officer), there's also no RTOA. Those are two of the main positions that punish plebes. The administration says that we shouldn't make plebes' lives suck for no reason. So it'll be a better time.
I understand Parents Weekend and Acceptance Weekend are back to being combined this year. And, we have been told there are events beginning Friday morning at 0730. However, I believe that it is not cast in stone until the 'official' schedule comes out.![]()
Yes, 0720 is morning colors, when the flag goes up and we salute it and go back inside. This will be my third parents' weekend/acceptance day, it's the same thing every year. You can attend classes with your kid on that Friday though, its kind of fun to see what the plebes go through on a daily basis, so I would recommend that. Classes start at 0745, but you don't have to attend the whole day of classes with him, I would personally show up after lunch, so that you can hang out with him in the afternoon but don't have the annoyance of being on campus all day.
