What's MMI?
Apr 15 was given to us as a hear-by date originally, too. I just got a little over-excited with the rumors of mail-call(!) coming. It's cool.
It is hard to wait patiently, isn't it? After all, it's not like their futures are at stake right?
Oh wait! They are! At any rate, we are still stalking the poor mailman. I think he deserves combat pay for even entering our neighborhood, as we sprint to the mailbox as soon as we hear the truck rounding the corner.
Hang in there Zfam. Our DS is growing so impatient, but we take it as a good sign that he really, really wants an appointment....no doubts.

The waiting game continues...
As each day passes without word, we are facing the reality that our DS may not make it....this year anyway. All hope is not lost, but the thought of going through all this again next year is daunting. Hopefully he will figure out what needs improvement and does it, AND applies EA. Those Dec. appointments were so nice to read about.
On the other hand, it means he has a full year to grow up a bit more, study and improve his grades, and be home where this momma bear can watch over him for awhile longer
Here's hoping some of us get news (good news preferred, but at this point ANY news) soon.

I'm not looking for Alaska...no where on the list. I'm thinking DC, but we shall see.
You will probably be the 10th place I notify when I know. Girlfriend, Parents, Girlfriend's Parents, Best friend, Friend in DC, FaceBook notification, and then this forum notification....that's the plan for notifications...but I'm still holding my breath.

It came in the mail today--- big, fat white envelope!
I couldn't wait,(i am one very proud mom!!) I drove to son's school and went to guidance-- they called him out of class and I just beamed at him and handed him the mail! THANKS to everyone here(especially LUIGI, who always believed & kept the faith) for all your help, advice and support. We are over-the-moon and doing cartwheels--- This is a dream come true for our whole family. And our son will be the fourth generation to enter military service! Class of 2012, see you on June 30th!!
