The ASVAB is primarily focused on what
enlisted jobs you can qualify for. The promotion of the "free" ASVAB at the high schools is primary intended to recruit
enlisted personnel, not officers.
Don't talk to an enlisted recruiter about becoming an officer or about the service academies. While some enlisted recruiters can be very helpful, they typically do NOT specialize in recruiting
officers, and you may get incorrect information or worst case, get "steered" toward enlisting.
For the SA's you should focus on their respective websites and/or the liasion officer. (USAFA liasion officer = ALO).
For USAFA:

For AFROTC, you should email or call your local AFROTC detachment recruiting officer.

Get good grades, and begin practicing for the ACT or SAT, and participate in a sport you love. Those are three things (among many others) that you can do to prepare to be an officer.
