The Waiting Thread...

I am so sick of the waiting.....got a TWE today about her CVW and about had a heart attack!
 
TWE came today... 4/22 CVW invitation

Also a BFE from 'regular' college with nice merit scholarship.

DS is triple Q'd, two noms, asthma waiver granted 2/24, and checking DoDMERB website about ten times daily.
 
DODMERB?

So DODMERB is our only indicator of whether we were accepted or not? There won't be a change on the Academy's login or any other academy's websites? It's too bad that I've forgotten my login for DODMERB! Haha i'll keep trying to find it though!
 
Just an FYI...my son received "the call" from his MOC this past Friday, but his DoDMerb status hasn't changed yet. I know that some MOCs choose not to call, so hang in there!

Thanks for the congrats! We didn't get the message until Sunday night because we were helping our older son get set up at his first duty station. He is now with the Navy Mid-South rock band, Freedom.

I will keep you all posted on how events unfold so you have a timeline (status change on Dod, BFE). Of course, it could be different for everyone, but at least it gives you something to read in the meantime. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you wait. Hang in there! I hope to see ALL of you on I-Day or PPW!!

DoDMerb status changed sometime yesterday afternoon. So far:

MOC call on 3/12
DoD change on 3/15

Congrats to all who have been notified in the past few days! Hang in there, those of you who are still waiting...
 
No news as of March 16. Can only assume as days tick closer and closer to April15 it's best to chose the official plan b...so spring break will be spent looking closely at the 3 plan b schools, instead of lounging at a beach! Three other candidates from DD"s high school were offered NAPS. One is going, 2 turned it down.

May the luck of the Irish shine on some of you tomorrow! Especially harmi!
 
shortmom - DS is feeling the same way...no news from USNA yet. Plan B is a very realistic option for him at this point. He just now needs to decide plan B, C, D.....
