Yes ma'am. That would be the one - thankfully this is super rare and there are not multiple similar cases to sort through!

It had to be that case, unique and bizarre

I was on USNA staff when that all came out. Dant’s JAG was a cowboy with a mind that put two and two together, and he called the TX county sheriff asking about any unsolved murders from the year before involving a HS student. Law and Order plot work ensued, with TX folks showing up at both SAs, making simultaneous arrests so they could isolate them with no story coordination.

For those wondering what the heck: just Google Diane Zamora and David Graham.

There is even a very bad movie about the case.

I was just talking about this. I has seen a show on Netflix about it. Couldn’t believe it !! Looks like Diane isn’t enjoying her ‘stay’....and also isn’t too bright! It was A cold case until she told her secret to fellow Mids.

It's too bad SAF wasn't around back then. Can you imagine? "I've had a pretty intense personal experience and I was wondering if it might make a good essay topic..."

You chain of command has an obligation to take care of you. They all know which upperclass has a likelihood of talking to you on a consistent basis. If someone outside your company is giving you a hard time quite a bit they will notice and ask questions. You probably won't see the dialogue but it will happen. Just be ultra-professional if this guy ever approaches you. Do not give him any ammo to use against you,

Texas is NOT the state to commit murder in...just sayin'
Come to the Northeast...you hear voices controlling your life, your parents were mean, life isn't fair...Man 2 degree!

I figure OP’s only response if ever asked about the ex-GF would be “Sir, Ms. GF was a goddess beyond reproach, and I never deserved her, sir!”
Actually, your response if approached by whoever this person is (ex-GF's brother or whatever) should simply be "sir, I do not understand" (one of your four responses).
