Hello all just wanted to provide some hope for those who were disqualified for asthma and eczema. I was disqualified somewhere around October because I checked off the boxes in my initial exam. Due to my liaison officer at USMA telling me it would be best to get a Methacoline challenge test, I went to the hospital around late October.
I passed the test and sent all items to the academies I applied to (USAFA and USMA). No word yet from USMA but two days ago recieved a waiver for both disqualifications. The asthma was waiver on a basis of "essentially resolved using negative objective and bronchoprovication testing".
So, keep your hopes up and pray to pass these test cause the waiver might just come through !
