DS received nominations from Congressman Lamb (USAFA, USMMA) and Senator Toomey (USAFA).

I am still waiting to hear from Tammy Duckworth. I know people have been getting letters this week. Is there anybody who is still waiting?

DS received a “no” letter via snail 🐌 mail yesterday (a day after someone else on SAF). He was expecting it as he has a USNA nom from Senator Durbin. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻for you both that not hearing yet means good news on the Senator Duckworth front for you 🍀 !

My DD got rejection letters from both senators today ugh!! Awful Christmas gift! Still have congressman interview in January! Fingers crossed!

Good luck 🍀 to her in January! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻! I’m sorry the letters were received on Christmas Eve 🙁. DS rec’d a “no” from MOC & it was a tough night - I feel your pain but it’s not over!

DS hasn't received anything from Senator Duckworth yet...Happy Holidays and good luck!!
 
The Grinch really hit Texas today. DS got Cruz’s rejection today, and Cornyn already rejected him. Worried about Congressman, but too many presents to wrap to dwell.

DS is still waiting to hear from Duckworth as well. We have been checking the mail expecting a rejection letter each day. He did not get a nom from Durbin but did get a nomination from our Congressional Rep for USAFA. He’s not applying to other service academies.

Apparently Durbin and Duckworth communicate, but I don't know if they communicate with individual congress district. If so, then applying to more than 1 academy is not going to work in Illinois unless there are other sources of nominations; I am in the same boat...:). Happy Holidays! And Good Luck!
 
Anyone hear about kids from Virginia getting Senate Nominations in their USNA portals, but no letters? Heard this happened to a friend and he's unsure if it is a mistake or the letters will come after the holidays. Thanks for your help.
