Our plan B is a non AFROTC scholarship, but the Presidential Scholarship (full tuition) awarded by Auburn. He chose this over the Baylor scholarship since he and a couple of friends will just join up with the AU AFROTC when they arrive on campus. We only lose out the $200 deposit if the BFE and successful BCT occurs. You just don't know what can happen at BCT and next thing you know you are medically DQ'ed as a result of an injury. With plan B in place he could still make the fall semester and he keeps his scholarship. Good luck to you!
If my son Plan B's he'll see them there, he's got both an AFROTC and an Auburn scholarship and he's been enrolled in the Honors and Engineering Colleges and at Det 5. Hopefully the boys will meet - west of here - though!
