I apologize for the poor wording in my original post. I was actually wondering if an individual congressman would notify their nominees at the same time, or if the principal nominee is selected first, followed by the others at a later date.
Actually, the answer is still the same. The individual senators/congresspeople can do it however they want. The academies don’t tell the how to notify. Or what kind of slate to use (principal, ranked, etc). It’s up to the individual MOC’s. The only thing (as far as I know) is that the noms must be turned in to the SA by a certain date.
My now youngster received 3 nominations. Only one of the MOC’s notified DS. The other two nom’s just popped up in his portal one day.
Have you thread the information tagged in the nomination forum? The nomination stickies? Lots of info there.
Absolutely! This is a great resource, but make sure and follow the advice/instruction on the official sources of your service academies and nominating sources. Everyone here has opinions, but are not official representatives of any academy.
