When should I finish my NROTC Marine option application

I recently started my NROTC Marine option application and I was wondering when I should aim to have it completed so that it is reviewed by both boards.

johnny1530: after you complete the application you will have an interview and a PFT test. In addition your teacher recommendations will have to be sent in. So you want to get things done as soon as possible without sacrificing quality. In other words, put together the best application/ essays you can and get the teachers who will be making the recommendations standing by and submit it as soon as possible. I always suggest people shoot for the end of September. Others will have different opinions.

Agree with USMCGrunt. The best laid plans always allow for things to go wrong and other delays.
