Dear Everyone,
I am currently in the process of applying to the USNA and the USMMA, I have completed every step and the last thing I needed was to be cleared by DODMERB. They had flagged me for having a history with psoriasis. In reality I have a mild case of psoriasis that isn't visible, my DODMERB portal currently says 'under waiver review,' my question is what steps should I take next to clear myself. I spoke with my admissions counselor and they were not of help. If I see my doctor what should I say/do.
Please help as I have gone too far to quit now.
Thank you!!

From 2012 - not sure if this changed:

No need to post on numerous threads. Mr. Mullen will find you I am sure.

There are a lot of discussions here and on the DODMERB forum about psoriasis and eczema issues. I am not sure why type of "help" you are looking for,, but The Pattern is spot on....sit tight and wait until you hear. If DODMERB or USNA asks for additional information, you should do exactly as requested.

My DD is also "under waiver review" for both USNA and NROTC. Have sent in all the medical records we can think of. Is there anything else we should do to assure the waiver board has everything they need?

1. Based solely on what you said, No.
2. Your DD, THE APPLICANT should go to https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil. On the home page, hit “Questions about the process.” Read paragraphs 11-13; 15-22.

Mr. Mullen, What exactly does "Under Waiver Review" mean? Does it mean that the SA has requested a waiver review or does it mean it's waiting for the SA to request a waiver review?
