Daughter just received a nomination in her portal for USAFA from MN senator 81. Showed up in her portal yesterday. No letter or phone call from anyone and still no word from representative. Hope others also received good news from MN.
Same for me. Not sure which one it is but it is exciting! No email or call yet as well.

My son received a nomination from our congressman for both the USAFA and USNA over a month ago, still no word from Senator Warren or Senator Markey yet.
Congrats! We’re still waiting it's hard to. Are you MA-9 or others? I’m not sure it’s possible to get duplicate noms MOC and Senators in MA.

Just received this from Senator Van Hollen’s office. The waiting is getting shorter

Yeah, my son just told me the same thing a few minutes ago. He reports back to school on Saturday, so if it doesn't show up before then, I get the terror of opening the letter for him!

What a feeling 🤣🤣🤣 We are not counting on this but still want to see what the letter says. Crossing fingers for our sons.

Hi! I’ve recently received a nomination from my NY senator as well as previously received one from my congressman. They want me to only accept one of them so which should I take? I know they’re both weighted equally in admissions but theoretically the senator is much more competitive, especially with NYC. My district is very non-competitive and I think only two nominations were given to USNA, however there’s only one slot and a recruited athlete got nominated along with me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Since your district is pretty non-competitive, that slate will most likely be much less competitive than the NY Senators so I'd opt for that.

What advice would you give someone from a very competitive district, that got their senior senators as well.

If you don't mind me asking, which senator did you receive the nomination from?

Congrats! Which Senator, Gillibrand or Schumer and what District?
