SC has usually been closer to the 1/31 deadline the last few years. At least for the Senate ones.Have any of you received a nomination notification for USNA from SC Tim Scott, Nancy Mace or Lindsey Graham?

Competitiveness depends on the quality of candidates applying each year and what SA. Based on talks with BGO and other parents, TX 24 is extremely competitive of USNA, USAFA. It was not that competitive for USMA last year, FFR had only 6 open candidates by end of dec 2020.Do you know how competitive TX-24 usually is for nominations?
He received a letter in the mail from our Congressman on his nomination. Then yesterday he received an email for USMA nomination from one of our state Senator’s. He originally was notified by email he wasn’t selected for an interview back in November with the Senators board but somehow he got the nomination after the fact. Now we wait and see if he gets an appointment from either USNA or West Pointe.Congratulations! Can I ask how your son was notified?
My son got into Purdue engineering this week too and is waiting for the Space Force & AFROTC...but said won’t come out until early March. Of course hoping for an appointment too. Good luck to him!If you haven't received word from your senator check your spam mail... after reading the forums today to see if anyone has heard from Colorado, he searched senators in his emails and found two emails from the senator. One sent on the seventh congratulating him on being selected and one on the fourteenth, double checking he was interested. He accepted the nomination today, now hoping for an appointment to follow. He is also being reviewed by the selection boards of the AFROTC and U.S. Space Force (USSF) AFRTOC I believe being held tomorrow, he just found out he got into Purdue and Notre Dame as well as all of his other top schools. Been a great week for him, now keeping fingers crossed for an appointment and for the boards.
Woohoo.. that is so awesome. Funny how some of these boys are on such similar tracks. My son was so excited to see he got Purdue engineering and then finding out he had the nomination afterwards was even more exciting. I just asked my boy and he said boards are tomorrow and he should have results in March too. He said thank you!!Congrats!
Did your son get noms to more than one academy? He said thank you!!
No sir, his only service academy choice he put on his application was to the USAFA.Did your son get noms to more than one academy?
Definitely, just like yourself we are in one of those crazy competitive districts. My boy new it would be tough, especially only listing USAFA, but luckily his hardwork paid off. Congratulations to your son on Purdue, is he engineering as well? and if I remember correctly your son got his Congressman nomination around Christmas, so best of luck on an appointment to him as well. Sounds like these Colorado boys are doing pretty good for themselvesAn impressive accomplishment as a student in CO. USAFA is tough for nominations in our state, but I suspect it has gotten so competitive that students don't get multiple Senator nominations, and the same is likely true of competitive congressperson districts. Best of luck to your son on getting an appointment. And congrats on Purdue...that was our son's first decision released and he got similarly great news. Pfew!

TWE from Senator Kaine received Saturday.I know of a few students who received nominations from Senator Kaine. They were notified shortly before Christmas. My son has not heard so I assume a rejection letter is forthcoming.

No LOA but has a nomination from our district (VA-07) representative.Did your son have a LOA?
