SCEA decisions were released on 12/16.

But of course I guess you can decide when Princeton (or your top college choice) call with an acceptance. SAs are not regular colleges, is your career so better keep that in mind. Good luck to you!!

Yes! Certainly when you are presented with several options the decision is not clear cut.

A nomination showed up in USMA portal from GA-61. Does anyone know which senator this is? Have not received any other contact, i.e. email, phone call or letter, so unsure of which senator awarded the nom. I haven't seen any other posts regarding Georgia Senator nominations, so any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure it is from a senator and not a representative?

61 is your senior Senator and 62 is your junior senator.

I just read that Senator Ossoff is the senior senator from Georgia. Did you have the opportunity to be interviewed?
 
So has anyone else received a USNA nomination from a California Senator? I’m trying to figure out if you were informed about the type of nomination, whether my kid is a principal or an alternate, which senator nominated him and whether or not he will get that information. Also, anyone have any stats on how many slots either of the senators have this year for USNA, or if that information is even available? Thanks in advance.
 
Is there any news from NJ-12 (Watson Coleman) or Senator Booker? Menendez nominations are definitely given out already?

Have not heard from Booker or Menendez. I've read here that Menendez send out nominations but have not gotten any formal rejection from their office yet
 
I was checking my USNA portal and under nominations it says California Senator 1. I never received any emails or notifications from my Senator nor did I interview with them. Is this a bug in the system or is it legit? Thanks!

If it's in the portal it's legitimate. Senators don't always do interviews even when they say they will. Also they aren't required to tell you by email or call just a courtesy. Congrats on the nomination!

No interview with Ossoff. I found an earlier post regarding another hopeful not hearing of interviews with Ossoff. Maybe it was via application review only.
 
Last year, NJ senators did not push out rejection letters. I assume the same this year. If you hear nothing from them, then you didn’t get their nom.

This used to be the case but I don't believe that it represents junior or senior anymore. It simply represents that it was senatorial. My DS only applied for and interviewed with the senior senator in our state and his nomination is listed as 62 in his portal. So, I don't think you can read too much into which one it was. They should have sent you an email or a letter congratulating you. Other than to call and ask, that is about the only way you can find out. Or, I suppose that you could ask admissions but I would not recommend that.
