Received a nomination from Congressman Neguse in Colorado to USMA today, awarded a 4-year Army ROTC Scholarship yesterday, and contacted directly by the Army ROTC from both Cornell University and Calpoly!! Everything is starting to become real!!
congrats

Anyone hear yet from Diana DeGette in CO District 1 or Cory Gardner or Michael Bennet?

I don't expect to hear from the senators until January. My niece went through this two years ago, and she heard from Gardner first, then Bennet---but both in January. I'm not in District 1, so have no insight on DeGette.

Senator Bennet's interview panel gave my son a paper that said they were hoping to have Nominations out by the end of December, but that they may encounter unforseen things that may delay that a week or two.
Senator Gardner's interview panel provided a paper that said they would hear by Jan. 31st.
We are not in your district so can't help with deadlines for your Rep.
Here's to hoping it's on the earlier side of the Senator's estimations!

Still nothing from Sen. Cornyn? I guess they are waiting till after Christmas now or sending yes letters in the mail versus calls??? It is a long shot for my son to get one but somebody on this forum will get one and hopefully report in. I am a little surprised as notifications were to be "shortly after" the panel met Dec. 6th.

Because Texas is super competitive it seems they all work together to get as many noms out as possible to as many different candidates as possible. Cruz said he had about 1,000 applications and gave out 40 (per the press release from November). That's only a 4% chance to get a nom which is even harder than getting into a SA as they hover around 10% acceptance rate for all applications! It sounds like (this is purely speculative) the process is Cruz gives his out then tells Cornyn. Cornyn then gives out his which are different than Cruz. Remember Cruz gives out noms but then asks if you accept so they can go down the list. After Cornyn is done then they go to House members. There is a lot of coordination and requirements to get acceptances from candidate, etc.

My friend received a nomination from Senator Cornyn a few days ago.

Via letter or call? DS has a letter coming to him today from Cornyn via informed mail (just got it) so we'll see. Since DS got a nom from Cruz we don't expect one from Cornyn.
