Does anybody know when the Texas Senators mail out the TWE (letters stating inability to grant a nomination). Just wondering if they come early (mid-end of Dec) or later (after Jan)?

Congrats to all who received Noms thus so far by Texas Senators... I see several threads on their notification by phone calls, etc. Just wondering how long before the denied Noms are mailed out... :) (anybody out there from previous years?) Thanks all.

Did anyone hear back from North Carolina Senator Burr/David Price(04)?
I applied to Tillis, Burr and Congressman Holding (NC 2) and have heard back from Tillis and Holding, but not Burr. I have heard in the past that he does not even notify those who he does not nominate, which aggravates me quite a bit, especially given all the time we spent applying for his nomination.

DS just received notification, in the mail, for congressional nomination to USAFA!!! He cried, I cried...now he learns to wait. Thank you to all for your input, both directly and from the search function. This site is a veritable warehouse of information.

DS just received portal update with nomination from his Congresswoman, no idea yet if ranked or principal or standard nomination but nominations to USNA, USMMA and USMA. Still waiting news from Senators. Yippeeee! So proud of this kid, this mom might have cried a bit

DS got in touch with Cuellar’s office. He was told they will not be interviewing but they finished their applicant reviews end of last week and will be calling and sending a letter to notify all applicants one way or the other. Nothing from Cornyn’s office yet.

Forgot to add that, upon inquiry, TX-25 Rep. Roger Williams' slate is fully competitive. No principal nominee given. The stickies in the Nomination forum say this is the most common methodology.

Strangely, this doesn't feel as great as expected. Son's three possible shots at a difficult medical waiver at the 3 academies just narrowed to only one chance (unless something comes through with Sen. Cornyn). Two months and counting on the medical waiver process but at least we know USNA has requested one. The stars must fully align between nom, medical waiver, and appointment. I haven't heard of anyone getting multiple noms from our MOC here in TX-25.

Congratulations to those with noms moving one step forward.
