State Nomination Threads - Moderated

I received a nomination letter today from Lee Zeldin, NY-01. I'm assuming its for USNA since I interviewed with the USNA panel and it was listed as my first choice on the application, however, the letter is non specific. Will have to confirm on Thursday after the holiday. Very excited and grateful!

Fun Fact about Long Island’s Congressman Lee Zeldin, for which you may already be aware:

U.S. Army Major Lee Zeldin is in a unique club, one in which there is only one other member.

Zeldin is one of two U.S. Congressmen serving in the Army Reserve. If you add the House of Representatives and the Senate together, there are only 16 people who are currently serving in the military.
 
My son just showed me his West Point Cadet Candidate Portal. He received a nomination from PA61. The issue is, we don't know who that might be??? He interviewed with Sen. Toomey and our Congressman, Conor Lamb, but he's PA-17. DS has not received any phone calls, letters, or emails thus far...

Confusing, but we'll take the good news!!!

61 is a senate code

edited to say 61 is usually the senior senator but not always

Interesting.....we have heard nothing from them. He interviewed for USMA.

DS received an E-mail from Senator Burr's office telling him that he was selected for an interview and that it would be held January 11th in Winston-Salem. Time will be sent closer to interview. I think he received around December 19th or 20th.

Had your DS received a nom from Tillis as well? I have not heard back from Burr yet, however received a nomination from MOC and interview and then nomination from Tillis. Seems like I would have heard from Burr also. Incredibly grateful for the nominations I have received just wondering if there is still a chance at a third nomination.

Also wondering if they collaborate.
