State Nomination Threads - Moderated

I just got called by cantwell's office for an interview this coming Tuesday (1/28)
 
There are only 5 interviews happening for Cantwell. On January 7th she choose her top 10 ( these haven't gone out yet so if you haven't heard anything your still fine) and today calls went out regarding interviews for her top five to determine principal nom.
 
I called her office and the staff member only told me that they were notifying people on the 31st and that they hadn't decided on interviews yet after I gave her my name. I'm guessing that she was not part of the team that coordinates their nominations. Otherwise I have not heard anything from her so I'm guessing I'm not top 5 on any of her slates then.
 
Lol. Am I the only one that got an invitation to interview with Cantwell that found it interesting that it says there is no dress code expected for the interview..? ;p

Anyway. Good luck to all of you!! Do well at the interview if you have been granted an interview...And..don't stress! It's a great opportunity to show them why you think you're worthy. :)

I did. Meet two candidates while waiting there..And the view of the ocean from the interview room was amazing :)

How did your interview go?
 
It went a lot better than my interview with congresswoman Delbene thats for sure. :shake:

That's good to hear! :) I'm sure you did well. I wasn't expecting only one person to be doing the interviews, but it wasn't a bad thing. At least for me, it felt a bit more relaxed than my interview with Reichert.

We should be hearing from Cantwell soon! Good luck.. :)
 
I recieved nominations from both of the Senators, and Dave Reichert (WA-08).

Hopefully the rest of you have received a nomination...if not, if you applied for the vice presidential nomination, recipients should be announced sometime in March.

Best of luck to all of you in getting accepted! I'm still waiting to get a medical waiver granted!!
 
Does anyone know if congresswoman Delbane selects a primary nominee, and if so is the primary nominee told of his/her nomination status?
 
Hi Jachlee. Glad to see a fellow Washingtonian. I'm in WA-02 District, I haven't heard from my Congressman yet. Have you heard from any of the senators?
