I've read that for each vacancy at the academy the senators can nominate 10 people. But my senators' staff said each senator can only nominate 10 people PER ACADEMY, vacancy. Which one is correct? Are my senators wrong?
My son received a similar letter from Rubio's office -deferring to his Congressman's nomination -We are District 3- may I ask what District you all are in?Got a letter in the mail yesterday from Sen. Rubio (Florida) indicating that DS did NOT receive a nomination from him on account of having already received one from our representative. Our state is pretty competitive, I've heard.
Ohh this must be a year of one vacancy. Thank you! They can nominate 10 people per vacancy at each academy. They are allowed 5 charged cadets per MOC at any given time at each school. Most years there will only be one vacancy at each academy so there will be 10 people on their slate. If it happens to be a year where they have two vacancies, they can nominate two slates of 10 each.

Anyone heard from CA Senators Harris and Feinstein yet? I got both of my postcards back, but haven't been contacted.
I got an email from Senator Harris, no email from Feinstein though. Harris is taking only a small number of applicants. No email could mean elimination.DS got a postcard back from Feinstein, nothing from Harris. No emails from either.

I heard back from Rubio, ended up getting his Nom, heard he has two vacancies at USMA this year.District 7.
I asked my MALO, and they were able to tell meIs there any way of knowing how many vacancies a MOC has? Seems like that should be public/accessible knowledge somehow.
Anyone one hear anything from Illinois yet?
Does anyone have an answer to this?Just curious, did the people who were in district 8 (Don Beyer) have an interview for the USMA?
Not here, just DS was notified that he has an interview Saturday with our congressman (Hultgren-14). Good luck to you!
