For USAFA, it's straightforward to determine if one is physically (CFA) and medically (DoDMERB) qualified, but it seems to be more complicated for borderline candidates to be designated academically qualified. There were posts last year from disappointed applicants who met the minimums for GPA and test scores but the combination of the two produced a score/algorithm? which disqualified them.

Has anyone heard back from Senators in Louisiana? I know I’ve asked this before but that was a few weeks ago

I received nominations from Tim Kaine and Ben Cline. (VA senator and congressman district 6) Both of them are just to USAFA.

Tim Kaine sent snail mail postmarked December 19, just like Ready2024 (only his was for USNA :) so no competitive feelings).

Ben Cline updated my portal about a week before I got his snail mail.

Does having two noms give you a slightly better shot because you can be slotted with either before being sent to the NWL?

This is what @kinnem advised when our son posed the question you asked. Congrats on the multiple nominations.

"Having multiple nominations to an academy is helpful. It doesn't increase your whole person score or anything, but it gives you more slates to compete on. It's like having a lottery ticket. Each ticker gives you a chance to win. Of course everything comes down to what your competition looks like on each slate. It is a competition after all. "

I got a no email from her as well for USNA. I never heard anything from Harris though.

also applied for harris, anyone know when they will come out or when they came out last year?

also, does anyone know if the Senators/Congress also has access your WP packet? (CFA, DoDMETS, etc.)

Waiting as well...….

email query was replied and told that "nominations will go out no later than the end of next week".

Hopefully by email.

Would hate to have to wait a few extra days for snail mail that goes out on a Friday......

Feinstein sent out email today. I received one simply stating she is unable to provide me with a nomination. I however have two nominations already so not really too affected by that. Maybe check out the nomination threads?
Hey fellow Californian, congrats on your two noms! That's so awesome! Good luck with an appointment! :)
